The Drum City Drum School has been running for over 4 years, and has grown to the extent that we now have eight full time drum teachers.

All our teachers are professional drummers from a number of popular bands. (like Pluto, Autozamm, 8 Foot Sativa) Many have degrees' from Auckland University in Drumming and Music Theory. They have lots of experience  working with younger players, are easy going and all have great personalities. Currently we have students ranging from six years old to fifty years old with a very even mix between male and female students.

- All Lessons are located at 1 Rockland's Ave Balmoral, Auckland
- You arrange the time with the teacher to suit you both
- Lessons cost around $30* for half an hour and $45* for the full hour
- All the drums are provided at the lesson so all you need to bring are your own sticks

FAQ's
"At what age should my Daughter/Son start taking lessons?"
 - There is no fixed limit, we suggest from the age of six and up. We base that on 'Attention Span' at six you should be able to focus for a 1/2 hour lesson and be able to practice for up to 1/2 an hour at a time. there have been some cases where children have started earlier, but this is up to the parent.

"Do I need a drum kit to learn?"
 - The short answer is YES, like any instrument, you need to practice at home and for that you will need a drum kit. (You could not learn Piano or Violin without one)
